Be kind to your skin in the shower, too

Problem: drying out
In today's society we shower more frequently than ever.  This imposes great stresses on the skin, which does not have time to rebuild its natural protection. Obviously you should feel clean, and you should shower whenever you need, but water does dry the skin. If you like really hot showers, the skin's pores open even more, resulting in an even drier skin. Furthermore, long showers exacerbate the drying, which can lead to eczema.

Our solution
Sterisol shower products clean the skin without destroying the its natural protection. It is important to use products that are as gentle as possible, particularly if you shower frequently. Our products contain neither preservatives nor other harmful additives that could affect the skin's barrier function.

We have everything from mild products without perfume to perfumed shower products, all of which meet the exacting standards imposed.

All our shower products are moisturising and hygienic. We always supply our products in practical packaging that is both airtight and impervious to bacteria. This means the product does not oxidise (go off). Neither do we need to add any allergenic preservatives. The products are protected by the packaging, which means they stay fresh longer.

This is what you do
Although showering is one of our everyday activities, few people shower correctly. Start by wetting your hair and your whole body. Turn off the water (or get out of the shower jet) and wash your hair and body. Make a point of rinsing thoroughly to completely remove all shower products.

Do not have the shower too hot. A good guide is to shower at max. 37 °C, i.e. body temperature. A shower lasting a couple of minutes is sufficient. Finish by showering in cold water. It closes the pores and avoids drying the skin.
